About Us

In our kitchen and mixing bowls, you’ll find only the best ingredients, like pure vanilla from Madagascar, Valhrona cocoa, creamery butter, organic milk and organic eggs.

We’ve been covered in flour since we were kids. It was a love started by our Great Grandmother Ruth Davis who was a baker, and later our grandparents who ran restaurants in upstate New York.

Baking was always in the family, but our first cupcake was a fluke. When asked by a friend to bake a birthday cake for an upcoming party, we surprised the guests by bringing cupcakes instead. (Truthfully, why be bothered to cut a cake?) The cupcakes, placed in plain sight, were devoured before dinner was even served.

When several party guests called asking for more, we said, “Why not?” And now—for better or worse—we’re covered in flour
for good.
